This Image Or Video Is Currently Unavailable on Flickr

You might get the “This Image Or Video Is Currently Unavailable” message appear as a popup when you click through on a thumbnail on a Slickr Flickr gallery.

This is because the photo is not available on Flickr at the size requested.

To check what sizes are available for a photo, find the photo on Flickr, click on the Actions dropdown, and select the View all sizes option.

It will look a bit like this:

The following shows a gallery at two different sizes: medium ,where all the lightbox photos are available; and Medium 800 where the larger lightbox photos do not exist.

Medium Gallery

If you click a thumbnail below the “Medium” photo will be displayed in the lightbox

If you click a thumbnail below the “Medium 800″ photo is not available on Flickr so instead you see an error message in the lightbox
