How Do I Know Which Version Of Slickr Flickr I Am Running?
You will be able to tell if you are running Slickr Flickr Pro because the entry on the WordPress Settings menu is Slickr Flickr Pro rather than Slickr Flickr.
First Installation
- If you are running Slickr Flickr Free edition you will need to deactivate it before installing Slickr Flickr Pro
- Click the link above to download the plugin to your local computer
- On your WordPress site go to Plugins and click Add New, then select Upload.
- Browse to the zip file on your computer and Upload
- Activate the plugin in your WordPress plugins control panel
- Go to the Settings section, and choose Slickr Flickr Pro
- Type In your Flickr ID (it should look something like 12345678@N00) and then click the Save button- this will give you normal operation
- To be able to check for updates and enable the bonus features you will need to copy and paste your license key found at the top of the page.
- NOTE: if you are upgrading from Slickr Flickr to Slickr Flickr Pro then all your settings will be copied across automatically from Slickr Flickr to Slickr Flickr Pro – but please note that if you have bought premium galleria themes then you will need to save their location in the Galleria Section of the Slickr Flickr Pro Admin page (Since WordPress 3.3, extra files in a plugin’s folders are deleted every time that plugin is upgraded so you can no longer keep the galleria premium themes under wp-content/plugins/…)
